Dear Brenda.......I'd like to thank you for playing for the YCG dinner last night. It was a very enjoyable night, and it was wonderful to hear you all play so well. Many members of the society who attended the dinner have commented on how well you all played and how much we enjoyed the entertainment you gave us. The ceilidh was absolutely brilliant and thoroughly enjoyed by all of guests as evidenced by a full dance floor throughout the evening. Thank you so much for throwing such a fantastic Ceilidh for us last Saturday! We had an absolutely amazing time, certainly the best Ceilidh we have been to, and our guests have been talking about it non stop since. Thanks for putting up with some of our more drunken guests, but I think it's testament to how good it was how many people actually joined in the dancing! (We were only expecting a handful to do it hence we didn't worry about the tent poles being in the way!)
Thank you so much to you and the band for doing such a wonderful Ceilidh, and I hope we find an occasion to do it again sometime once we've recovered sufficiently from the last one!

Dear Brenda.... Robin and I just wanted to send our personal thanks to you and the band for playing at Ruth's wedding and for helping to make the day such a success. We had a fantastic day and the Dogsbody Ceilidh Band got the evening off on exactly the right foot. You helped to create a lovely, warm, friendly atmosphere and the way that you welcomed Ruth in to play with you made it extra special. It was a pity that time ran out before we got to your final dances, but maybe it was a measure of how much everyone was enjoying themselves that the time ran out....

More than a hundred students turned up to see Dogsbody deliver a stomping ceilidh for our Burns Night Celebrations.
It was a fantastic set with dances thoroughly taught, great tunes, and many many happy reviews afterwards. The ceilidh was so good Leeds Folk Society were even nominated for a student union award for our event with Dogsbody!....

Hi Brenda.......Hope you're well and have had a good few weeks. We're back in the real world after a lovely honeymoon. We wanted to say thank you again for playing at our wedding. Everybody really enjoyed the ceilidh and we saw some people dancing who never dance. One friend had only seen her husband dance for their own first dance and he didn't leave the dance floor once!

Hi to all the band........ Just to say thanks for a fabulous evening and to let you know I have never had as much fun in the whole of my life!!! We really did not know what to expect as this was our first Ceilidh. We were really apprehensive thinking that most people would be quite shy and would be quite reluctant to take to the dance floor. How wrong could I be?! From the word go everyone was up and in the mood, soaking up the atmosphere. Even my husband (married 28 years) danced every dance, which is amazing as he is the one that always sits in a corner and watches everyone else, so this for me was quite special.
The whole evening was such fun with fabulous music for all, so just to say this will definitely NOT be the 'last dance for me'
